FAQ
1. Forget Username/Passward
Restore camera back to the factory setting
Press and hold the “Reset” Button on the base of the camera for about 3-5seconds with the camera powered on, and
then release. Once the button is release, wait about 30 seconds, and the camera will automatically reboot and restore
factory setting. The user name and password will be set to the default username and password printed on the base.

2. The system does not detect an SD Card.
Below are a few possible reasons why this may be occurring:
• The SD card is broken.
• The SD card slot is malfunctioning.
• The SD card has not been formatted properly.

3. Local Recordings are not search-able.
Below are a few possible reasons why this may be occurring:
• The SD card is broken.
• The SD card slot is malfunctioning.
• The camera’s firmware is incompatible with the recorded video.
• The recorded files have been overwritten.
• The recording function has been disabled.

4. The camera is not recording enough video.
Below are a few possible reasons why this may be occurring:
• The storage capacity is not enough.
• The storage device is damaged

5. Downloaded files cannot be played back.
Below are a few possible reasons why this may be occurring:
• The media player software on the PC may not be able to read the file format.
• The PC may not have Windows XP or higher.

6. Connection timed out.
Below are some reasons why the camera failed connection.
This camera is not supported 5G router, only support 2.4Ghz router.
Bad wifi Condition.

7. Download the CMS software which was flagged as a virus.
Because of your computer firewall setup, this software is filter our, and please do not worry about it and click access to
login in, this is absolutely safe software. Many of our customers are still using this.
